The FGM500B Dual-Power Rail Milling Train, independently developed by TRT, is capable of maximizing milling and full-range grinding in switch areas. This greatly enhances the operational quality of the FGM500B in switch maintenance tasks. Currently, the train has been shipped to the Guangzhou Metro depot for factory acceptance testing and will inject new and powerful technical vitality into the railway maintenance field.
The FGM500B Dual-Power Rail Milling Train utilizes profiling milling and grinding technology. By employing a "milling first, grinding second" approach, it effectively repairs defects such as rail corrugation, side wear, spalling, and head checking on the main track (with a minimum curve radius of R25m and a maximum slope of 80‰) as well as in switch areas.
